Player Tips

This is a difficult uphill par four which requires
an accurate tee shot to make a decent approach to
this very elevated and blind green. Out-of-bounds
borders the entire right side of the hole. Shots
from the tee hit to the right rough tend to kick
down to the fairway. Trees also guard the entire
left hand side of the fairway and provide little
success to advance the ball toward the green.
Depending on conditions shots from the base of the
hill tend to play at least one club longer due to
the steep grade of elevation. The flag pole provides
a general indicator of the green, but the pin
placement is all important as this shot could play
up to two clubs longer if the pin is in back. The
hole is devoid of bunkers, but is well protected by
a back-to-front slope and also a tendency to break
towards the large oak just short and right of the
green. |
