They’re here…
The opposing Big Ten Conference targets are at the
range. Work on your game and take shots at some of
our biggest rivals at the driving range today.
Golf with Goldy
The University of Minnesota Men’s and Women’s golf
programs will host the second annual “Golf with
Goldy” at the University of Minnesota, Driving
Range and Learning Center on Saturday, May 10th from
1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
The event will start with a brief clinic followed by
tips and instruction from members of the Gopher
men’s and women’s golf teams, coaches, and Golf
Institute instructors. Kids should bring their own
clubs; a limited number of clubs will be available
for use free of charge during the clinic.
There will be free food, drinks, contests, and
prizes. Autographs and pictures with
student-athletes and Goldy Gopher will also be
available.
“Golf with Goldy” seeks
to introduce kids in the Twin Cities to the game of
golf, the Les Bolstad University Golf Course, and
the Men’s and Women’s Golden Gopher golf programs.

Play Golf Minnesota
Our golf course is a proud supporter of the MGA/PGA
Minnesota Section Play Golf Minnesota Program.
Please join us for some of our specials during the
week of April 28th through May 4th.
Monday: University Day –
Everyone plays golf for the student rate = $20 at
available times. (cart not included)
Tuesday: Senior Day – Golfers
over 50 can save money and play golf with a cart for
$31 during the day.
Wednesday: Women’s Day –
Women can play 18 holes for $25 (walking) or $31
with cart. 9 holes for $16.
Thursday: Cart Special – 18
holes of golf and cart only $36. Save $9!!!
Friday: Range Special –
Receive a free small bucket of range balls with any
purchase of a equal or greater size. (Free basket
must be redeemed that day – no rainchecks)
Saturday: Play Golf Minnesota Day – Golf and cart $36
after 1pm.
Sunday: Family Day –
Juniors (17 under) play free with 2 paid adults.
Yardage Books are in…
Within the next 1-2
weeks we will be changing our pin location system.
The red, white, and blue flags will be replaced with
gold flags with
 on them. Be
sure to pick up a souvenir yardage book with pin
locations and check the first tee sign to find out
the day’s pin placement. An example of the pin
system is located below.
