Les Bolstad Golf Course is proud to have several instructors that teach lessons on-site at the practice range. All instructors are PGA certified and teach a variety of private and group lessons throughout the spring and summer. Greg begins his 33rd year as a golf professional and player development specialist. In 1999, Greg completed studies and testing to earn the PGA of America’s highest teaching distinction – PGA Master Professional of Instruction. He has given over 25,000 lessons to amateurs, professionals and golf school students. A St. Paul native and University of Minnesota graduate, he spent nearly 9 years in Florida teaching at clubs and at the country’s top-ranging golf academy.

Recipient of the 2006 PGA Golf Professional of the Year award, Jim is a PGA Master Professional at Les Bolstad Golf Course. A native of Coon Rapids, MN, his career has been highlighted by mentoring more than 250 caddies, including 37 who earned Chick Evans scholarships to attend college. He also guided six assistants that went on to pursue professional golf careers.

Angie Ause, LPGA & PGA



Angie is a PGA and LPGA Member and has been teaching golf from beginners to high level competitive players for over 15 years.  Angie will meet with you to figure out your goals and what course of action to take to achieve them.  Angie has also gone through the Titleist Performance Institute which has given her a deeper understand on how injuries, mobility, flexibility and strength play into your golf swing. In 2012, Angie was awarded LPGA Midwest Section Teacher of the Year and was MN PGA Section Player of the Year in 2014 and 2017.  Angie was a Golden Gopher and played golf at the University of Minnesota.
