GREAT GOLF

Located just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota campus, enjoy convenient and affordable golf in a parkland style course layout.

Legends such as Tom Lehman, Patti Berg, John Harris, Louis Lick, Karen Weiss and Les Bolstad have navigated their way around its tight fairways, ancient trees and elevated greens.

PREMIER PRACTICE FACILITY

Enjoy one of the largest driving ranges in the state. The University Driving Range has over 60 hitting stalls. Hit to target nets to hone a short game, or measure iron distances to Bolstad Golf Course's laser-sighted distance markers.

Distances from the tee to the pole markers are recorded daily using a laser-sighted yardage scope to ensure exact yardage, so golfers will always know how far balls are traveling.

As a significant educational resource to the university, the University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course has become the first Golf Lab site in the country. The Science of the Green Initiative has begun utilizing this historic golf facility to demonstrate how a golf course can become a laboratory for sustainability; focusing on engaging the community, achieving profitable finances, and producing a net positive environmental impact.
