Frequently Asked Questions
How does the TeeMaster credit
card reservation system
work/Will I be charged for a
no-show?

Our reservation service, TeeMaster, uses credit card information to hold all tee-time
reservations.  This is done to help protect against the abuse of tee-time reservations,
i.e. the persistent failure to fill your reserved time.  However, we are always
extremely flexible regarding unfulfilled tee-times.  We ask for 24-hour notification
of all tee-time changes, though if you make changes even a few hours in advance,
we are happy to make them for you at no cost.  An easy rule is to remember that
even a little notice goes a long way.
Reservations not filled on days with inclement weather are always accepted.

Why are carts not allowed
some days?

The general reason is due to excessive water on the course.  Even one cart can do
severe damage to especially soft turf.  We'd love to have the carts run all the time,
but the consequences are too harsh.  Please understand that this is only done for the
betterment of course conditions.

What benefits are available for
Alumni Association Members?

We offer a fantastic deal on Mondays for our Alumni Association Members, as they
play the course any time from 10am-close for only $15.  We also offer a season
pass $200 lower than our general rate.

Why don't you have a 9-hole
rate?

The easiest answer is we are an 18-hole course.  Golf for centuries has been
18-holes, and the layout of our course is conducive to this.  If we had a 10th tee
situated nearer our Clubhouse, we could split tees.  As it is, our play is designed for
a full 18.

Why doesn't the University
make major improvements to
the Course, Clubhouse,
Greens, etc.?

We would certainly love to make as many major improvements as we can,
however, our budget is in direct correlation to our revenue.  Basically, since we are
a self-reliant facility (we are not subsidized), the sums of money needed to make
major improvements take time to build up. When available, our revenues are used to
make improvements to the Course.
